Alleged Acushnet Drug Dealer Arrested

Acushnet Police and officials from the Bristol County Sheriff's Office arrest an alleged drug dealer in the town.

According to police, the three-month-long investigation came to a head Wednesday with the arrest of 34-year-old Juan Gomez in his South Main Street driveway.

Police say Gomez has been selling heroin to people in New Bedford, Dartmouth, and Acushnet.

He had 12 corner cut baggies containing what's believed to be heroin at the time of his arrest.

Gomez is being held at the Ash Street Jail on charges from two prior arrests.
