Alex Rodriguez went 0 for 3 with a sacrifice fly in his second rehab game with Double-A Trenton, playing seven innings in the Thunder's game against the Reading Fightin Phils on Tuesday night.

His status for Wednesday's game in Reading has not been announced.

The Yankees third baseman flew out three times and grounded out once.

The three-time American League MVP started by lining out sharply to left. He hit the ball squarely in his second at-bat, driving it to deep center field for a sacrifice fly that gave Trenton a 2-1 lead.

He was first-pitch swinging on his third at-bat, and was out in front on a changeup, lofting it into center field. He grounded to third in his final plate appearance.

Tuesday marked Rodriguez's 10th rehab game since July 2.
