AHA, Art, History & Architecture, New Bedford's free downtown cultural night and collaborative cultural organization with over 60 downtown venue partners, will be showing the Academy Award winning film, Glory, on Thursday, December 10 at the Corson Maritime Learning Center, 33 William St.

The film has an important, local connection telling the story of the first all-African American regiment who fought during the Civil War. The film is rated R because of the violence and will be shown free of charge at 6 pm. This 1989 classic features Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman and Matthew Broderick and is hosted by the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park.
