ACUSHNET — Acushnet Police are searching for two people they believe stabbed and robbed a Cape Cod man in the town last week.

Acushnet Police received a report of a stabbing victim at about 9:43 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1. Responding officers found a 26-year-old male victim from Cape Cod suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

The victim told police he had been in a vehicle with two acquaintances when they turned on him. The victim managed to escape the vehicle and call for help. The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.

Through investigation, police have obtained arrest warrants for Nathan Rose-Morey, 29, of New Bedford and Yarmouth, and Michelle Hayduk, 29, of South Dennis.

Once arrested, Hayduk and Rose-Morey will be charged with armed robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and other charges in connection to the August 1 stabbing and robbery.

Police say Rose-Morey and Hayduk are believed to be in a white 2016 Nissan Rogue with Massachusetts license plate 1DWG81.
