A man from Acushnet who crashed his car twice early Sunday morning told police that he had taken 30 different types of prescribed pills.

According to the Brockton Enterprise, officer Dennis Kitsos responded to a single-car accident on Rockland Street near the intersection of Massapoag Avenue at about 1:25 am.

33 year-old Joseph Knox, who was identified of the driver of the Hyundai Santa Fe, was arrested after he failed field sobriety tests.

It was also determined that Knox had not only crashed once, but two times.

Knox “was charged with drugged driving, driving negligently, leaving the scene of property damage and a marked lanes violation.”

“He was taken to the Bristol County House of Correction in New Bedford and held on $750 bail pending arraignment, which was expected to take place Monday in Taunton District Court.”
