The 33rd annual Apple-Peach Festival in Acushnet this weekend is a salute to the many apple and peach orchards in the town. The two day event is held each year at the Long Plain Museum and features entertainment, delicious baked goods and vendors selling their wares. Festival Chairman Tom Fortin is amazed how many people show up every year.

The Festival runs from ten am to 6pm both Saturday and Sunday. The festivities start Sunday at 10am with a parade from Pope Park on Main St. to the festival grounds.
