The man accused of killing a New Bedford cab driver has been arraigned in Fall River Superior Court.

The Bristol County District Attorney's office says 18-year-old Alexander Mills was ordered held without bail in connection with the November shooting death of 66-year-old Donald DePina.

Mills had walked out of a "staff secure" Department of Youth Services group home in Fall River just weeks before allegedly killing DePina in his cab in Brooklawn Park on November 28.

Mills is charged with DePina's murder, and will be held until a pre-trial hearing on May 20.

A second suspect, a 16-year-old juvenile male also charged with DePina's murder, is scheduled to be arraigned in Fall River Superior Court on Friday.
