The deadline to sign up for healthcare coverage under the Affordable Care Act is fast approaching.

Cara James with the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services says signing up online will be much less of a hassle this year.

Thousands of new call-center workers are now available to help people enroll for Obamacare before the deadline.

The increase to a 14-thousand person workforce took place Monday and is expected to help with wait times as the February 15th deadline approaches.

Anyone who doesn't sign up by the deadline won't be covered this year and could face tax penalties.
