ABC Snaps NBC’s Nightly News Winning Streak

ABC is putting an end to NBC's winning streak in the evening news race.

"World News with Diane Sawyer" was the top ranked newscast for the week of July 22nd, beating Brian Williams' "NBC Nightly News" by about 38,000 viewers in the 25-to-54 demo. It's the first weekly win for ABC in the evening news demo since 2008.

"Good Morning America" continues to outpace the once-dominant "Today" show after snapping the NBC morning show's win streak last year. "GMA" recently logged its first May Sweep in the news demo in almost 20 years.
