A man charged as an accessory in the murder case against former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez is returning to Massachusetts.

Ernest Wallace has been held in the Broward County, Fla., jail since surrendering to police in Miramar last week. Prosecutors say Hernandez orchestrated the June 17 killing of Odin Lloyd of Boston.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty. A third man has pleaded not guilty to weapons charges in the case.

A Broward sheriff's office spokesman said Wallace was turned over to Massachusetts authorities Friday afternoon.

Bristol district attorney's office spokesman Gregg Miliote said late Friday that he wouldn't be announcing details of Wallace's travel for security reasons. He said an arraignment hasn't been scheduled.
