Townsquare Sunday welcomes author Marsha Hall Brown to the SouthCoast. She's written a book entitled "Under Sun, Stars, and Sails. A Whaling Family's Life at Sea."  It's a true-life account of a 19th century Nantucket family's adventures during whaling expeditions, told through letters and journals written by Captain Joseph Marshall and his wife. Marsha Hall Brown is a descendant of Nantucket Whaling Masters. She joins Jim Phillips to discuss the book and that remarkable time in U.S. history.

If you have a public event, festival, or neighborhood activity you want to publicize, submit your information here. You can also send an e-mail to Jim Phillips at jim.phillips@townsquaremedia.com. This program can also be heard by downloading the WBSM app.
