A Time For Justice" is a powerful short film that embraces the spirit of the civil rights movement with historical footage, as well as personal accounts, from those who participated in the struggle. It also allows today's generation of students to witness firsthand the movement's most dramatic moments. Following this Academy Award winning film, a panel discussion will be guided by a panel of young adults who will take up the torch of activism. A Time For Justice will be shown free to the public February 20 at 7 pm at Gallery X, 169 William St. in New Bedford. This event is presented by the New Bedford Human Relations Commission, in celebration of Black History Month, locally.
