Bill Clinton does little by coincidence therefore his visit to AG Loretta Lynch's plane on the tarmac in Phoenix on Tuesday was in my opinion no accident. Question is, did Clinton do enough damage to the credibility of the criminal investigation of his wife Hillary, the likely Democrat presidential nominee, to taint the entire process and perhaps head off a possible indictment?

Lynch was foolish to believe that she could meet with Clinton for a half hour on a plane without anyone learning of it or questioning the motives behind the meeting. The meeting raised questions of impropriety and showed very poor judgment on Lynch's part. Clinton and Lynch probably did engaged in only small talk during that meeting but that was Clinton's intent.  Nothing that could come out under oath. Clinton simply wanted to cast shadows over the integrity of the investigation and the Attorney General, someone he appointed.  It worked.  Lynch was duped and looks like a fool for it.  Her reputation is tarnished.

The FBI will reportedly interview Mrs. Clinton at her home in Washington this weekend indicating that the investigation is drawing to a close.  Lynch says she will follow the recommendations of the FBI at the conclusion of the probe.  She has no choice at this point.

One thing to take away from all of this is a deep understanding and respect of the people's desire for change and their repudiation of the system that continues to rewards the elite power brokers. Let's hope there are enough of us frustrated voters to make a difference in November.
