Samantha Johnson’s Final Thoughts on AGT

On Friday, September 4, Samantha Johnson, New Bedford's rising star, joined Phil and Kasey after the 7 am local newscast to share her thoughts about getting all the way to the semi-finals of America's Got Talent before being bumped Wednesday night.

In her last performance on September 2, Samantha evoked goose bumps with her brilliant cover of "Earned It" by The Weeknd, receiving a standing ovation from two of the judges and all the crowd at Radio City Music Hall in NYC. She was the frontrunner and made her father proud with her Sam Smith cover, Lay Me Down, nailed it with California Dreaming and was over the top with her rendition of (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.
