State Officials Say Marine Commerce Terminal Puts New Bedford In Unique Position

Bill White of the Mass. Clean Energy Center says to some,  the proposed Marine Commerce Terminal in New Bedford when completed,  may look like a giant parking lot.  But White says the $100 million Terminal will put New Bedford in a very unique position.....

White was in New Bedford last night, briefing members of the City Council about the project.  Construction bids for the Terminal project are scheduled to be opened Friday afternoon at 2 in Boston.  White says there's been a lot of interest by prospective bidders. New Bedford's Commissioner of Public Infrastructure Ron Labelle is a member of the committee reviewing the bids.
