For a few hours Thursday night, you'll be able to experience what life was like in New Bedford in the 1950's.

Joe Jesus' 24th Annual 50's Night will bring hundreds of classic cars, live music, and much more from 1950's Americana to the heart of downtown.

Joe Jesus tells WBSM News he's proud that his event is starting to appeal to all generations. "I think the greatest part of it right now is you're looking at the people that are bringing their kids, and their grandkids, and their great-grandkids. This is such a very family-oriented thing," said Jesus.

Live music from entertainers like Jazzy Lady, Daddy-O, and WBSM's own Taylor Cormier will be filling the streets with the sounds of the 1950's.

50's Night runs from 4-9pm Thursday and is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be sold with proceeds being donated to Mercy Meals and More and The Neediest Families Fund.
