4th Annual Christmas Cards for Veterans Program

The LCpl Matthew R. Rodriguez Memorial Foundation is inviting you and the family to its 4th Annual Christmas Cards for Veterans Program on Saturday, December 9th. The cards are donated by the foundation and are handwritten by local school children, seniors and caring people like you.

With two locations for your convenience, please consider dropping by with your loved ones to spread some Christmas cheer to a veteran this holiday season.

Fairhaven Fire Department from 10 am to 2 pm and the VFW Poirier Post on Appleton at Ashley Blvd in New Bedford from 3 to 6 pm.

Over 3,000 Christmas cards were delivered to our veterans in the VA Hospital in Brockton last year. This Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the foundation is hoping to hand out 4,000 signed cards to the hospitalized veterans.

LCpl Matthew Rodriguez was a United States Marine from Fairhaven, MA who was killed in action in Afghanistan on December 11, 2013.
