The 28th annual Teddy Bear Parade marched around the center of Fairhaven today, welcoming scores of families and their beloved teddy bears. Millicent Librarian Jane Murphy says the parade has become a town tradition, and brings warmth to all involved....

After the parade, children and their teddy bears enjoyed a picnic lunch. The parade marks the end of the town's summer reading program, which had Fairhaven children reading for about 4,000 combined hours.
