2017 Whaling City Festival Schedule of Events

Thursday, July 6th marks the official return of the Whaling City Festival!

Thanks to the New Bedford Police Union, the Whaling City Festival will return to Buttonwood Park for four days - July 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th.  Here's what you can expect from the family fun fest:

6 Performances by The Zerbini Family Circus: Tickets ordered online will be held at the entrance to the circus tent the day of the show. Adults are $9 and children under 12 are $7. Children under 2 are free.

• Thursday, July 6th at 6pm
• Friday, July 7th at 6pm
• Saturday, July 8th at 3pm & 5pm
• Sunday, July 9th at 2pm & 4pm.

For every purchased adult ticket from now through July 4th you'll receive a child's ticket for FREE!

4 Days of Fiesta Shows- New England's Largest Traveling Carnival:  Opening at 4pm on Thursday, the carnival has kiddie rides and adult rides- fun for everyone!

• Thursday: 4pm - 9pm *Plus, Thursday is wristband night!  Unlimited rides for $25!
• Friday: 12n - 9pm
• Saturday: 12n - 9pm
• Sunday: 12n - 8pm

3 Days of Wrestling with Showcase Pro Wrestling:  Family Friendly wrestling will be set up by the Buttonwood Park pond Friday - Sunday. (There is no vulgarity or blood in this show.)

• Friday: 7pm
• Saturday: 2pm &  6pm (with special appearance by former WWE's The Spirit Squad)
• Sunday: 3pm & 5pm

1 Laser Light Show in the Circus Tent!
That's right! The very popular Laser Light Show is coming back this year thanks to great community sponsors like the Massachusetts Air National Guard and The Butcher Shop!

This is a one-night-only show being held in the circus tent on Saturday, July 8th. The show starts promptly at 8pm and it is first come, first serve seating.  Tickets for the laser light show will be $5 for adults and $3 for children. Tickets can be purchased on site the day of the event ONLY.

Plus!  Find the JR and the Fun107 Street Team and the Mass. Air National Guard on Saturday between 3p - 5p and you could win yourself a Dunkin' Donut gift cards or tickets to see Linkin Park and Machine Gun Kelly at Xfiniity Center on July 27th!
