The 2014 Emmy winners were announced during Monday's awards ceremony, broadcast on NBC and hosted by 'SNL' vet and 'Late Night' show host Seth Meyers. While there are always a fair share of shockers -- like how last year saw 'The Newsroom' star Jeff Daniels beating out Bryan Cranston for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama -- everyone had their eyes on 'Breaking Bad,' given it finished its final season late last year, HBO's breakout hit 'True Detective,' Netflix's 'Orange Is the New Black' and FX's buzzed-about 'Fargo' series.

So, who took home the big awards?

'Breaking Bad' was the clear frontrunner tonight in the Drama category. Bryan Cranston (after stealing the awards ceremony by making out with Julia Louis-Dreyfus right before she accepted her Emmy), Aaron Paul and Anna Gunn all won in their respective categories -- Lead Actor, Supporting Actor and Supporting Actress -- while the series at large took home Outstanding Drama over 'True Detective,' 'Game of Thrones,' 'House of Cards,' ‘Downton Abbey' and 'Mad Men,' the latter of which just can't catch a break. McConaughey, who would've been the second male actor in history to win an Oscar and an Emmy in the same year (the only one being George C. Scott in 1971 for 'Patton' and 'ITV Sunday Night Theatre'), but he couldn't stand against Heizenberg.

As for Comedy, 'Modern Family,' once again, took home the Outstanding Comedy Series Emmy (having done so for the past five years, now), while Ty Burrell was the only singular cast member who won in his respective category. Netflix's 'Orange Is the New Black,' while winning Creative Emmys, was once again left in the dust in the primary award categories.
