15 People Displaced By Fire In New Bedford

The Red Cross reports that 15 people were left without a home Saturday when a fire broke out at a rooming house on Ashley Blvd.

Paula Farrales of the Red Cross  was at the scene of the fire 201 Ashley Blvd. Farrales said no one was hurt but the men who roomed there are without a home. They will be sheltered at a local hotel for the time being. Ms. Farrales said the owner of the building will likely find another place for those men to men to live.
