13-Year-Old Attacked In New Bedford

A 13-year-old was taken to St. Luke's Hospital after being assaulted in New Bedford Wednesday afternoon.

Lt. Amos Melo says the incident took place on Parker St. when the juvenile was jumped by three individuals.

The victim sustained minor injuries but was taken to the hospital because they are a juvenile.

Melo says the victim has been uncooperative in identifying the assailants.
